I went to NY fashion week/market a couple of weeks with the mission of curating a fall collection that would offer true wardrobe builders. While it's pretty easy to have a closet of solid basics, neutrals: the perfect white button up, the navy peacoat, the LBD, I was after fabrics that were a little more lush, cuts that were flattering, intriguing and WEARABLE. Like can she drive her car in that coat, are there pockets in that dress, can she style it at least three ways? And, most of all, will she feel good in it?
The tones are beautifully muted earth tones, with a pop of red and royal blue here and there. We've got some exciting new lines: Italian suede mules in some sexy sexy colors, hand painted fingerless driving gloves, a REALLY fun new sweater line, and so much more. We've worked really hard to put together total looks that can also work well back to things you already have in your closet.
AND, it's always the best feeling to see our people: the designers and their agents who we work with behind the scenes all year long.
