A story of community, creativity, and clothing meant to be lived in.
There’s a special kind of magic in pieces that feel like companions — garments that are lived in, loved, and infused with the energy of the hands that made them. That’s the heart of FREECITY, a line born not from a business plan, but from a deeply human impulse toward freedom, connection, and expression.

Founder Nina Garduno grew up in the bohemian spirit of Laurel Canyon in the 1970s, a place shaped by music, art, and creativity. Her decades in fashion sharpened her eye, but it was a chance connection with a Danish commune that sparked the idea for FREECITY: clothing built on shared space, collective freedom, and the beauty of handmade craft.
Today, every FREECITY piece is still made in small Los Angeles workshops — hand-dyed, hand-printed, and washed to feel like home from the very first wear. These are clothes you return to again and again, not because they’re trendy, but because they feel like part of your story.
For us at Haven, FREECITY represents everything we love: artistry, community, authenticity, and pieces that make getting dressed feel joyful and easy.
